ADB PPTA 40665-PRC: Songhua River Basin Water Pollution Control and Management Project

 

 

EASEN was commissioned by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for PPTA 40665-PRC: Songhua River Basin Water Pollution Control and Management Project. Through this project, EASEN helped select subproject cities, municipalities, counties, and townships in Heilongjiang and Jilin provinces improve their urban environments and achieve long-term sustainable development through investments in:

  • Water supply treatment and distribution
  • Wastewater collection and treatment
  • Solid waste management
  • River water treatment

 

 

EASEN provided the following services:

 

  • Review of subproject cities comprehensive urban and specific sectors
  • Preparation of Development Plans
  • Review of the domestic feasibility studies, policy discussion, and related activities
  • Develop a project design and monitoring framework in consultation with government agencies and ADB

 

 

This PPTA was completed in 2008.
