ADB Loan Shanxi Environmental Improvement Project
EASEN was contracted for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Financial Management Services Project provided to the Shanxi Environment Improvement Project in the cities of Taiyuan, Datong and Yangquan of Shanxi, China.
Project components:
- Improve city water supply and wastewater management through construction of Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) and sewer network expansion
- Strengthen the landfill and solid waste management for Shanxi river rehabilitation
- Improve flood control and water management works
- Promote sustainable development in the inland provinces through environmental improvements
- Promote higher energy efficiency
- Promote energy cost savings.
EASEN assignments included:
- Financial analysis
- Financial projections
- incremental financial viability for the project cities that included Taiyuan, Datong and Yangquan
This project was implemented between 1999 and 2002.
