  • Renowned Calligrapher Xie Xian Reng Writes Inscription for EASEN

     

    On April 5, 2012, the famous calligrapher, Mr. Xie Xian Reng arrived at EASEN to write the inscription: "境宜生荣" which translates to "Let The Environment Thrive."

     

     

    Xie Xian Reng is currently a calligrapher for the Chinese Couplet Society. He is best known for his embedded couplets and his leftward horizontal calligraphy. He has done work for the President of China, Hu Jintao, Former Premier of Singapore, Goh Chok Tong, Taiwan Kuomintang Former Chairman Lien Chan, ARATS Chairman Wang Daohan, and renowned painter Mr. Chen, among others.

     

    Dr. Ping Zhuang received Mr. Xie Xian, who's inscription "境宜生荣,  Let The Environment Thrive," signifies EASEN's mission and its hope for an ever-improving environment. The characters 宜生 (EASEN) are embedded within Mr. Xie Xian's inscription, which makes for a fitting juxtaposition.
