  • Dr. Ping Zhuang Invited as Panelist for The China Greentech Initiative 2012 Partner Program

     

    MAY 23, 2012: Easen International’s Managing Director, Dr. Ping Zhuang, served as a panelist for the China Greentech Initiative 2012 Partner Program, Clean Water and Cleaner Conventional Energy Sectors in Shanghai. This joint working session focused on water efficiency prospects in water intensive industries including oil and gas, coal conversion, steel, and power generation.

     

    The event featured three panels which assessed the current practices of water efficiency solutions, interactive relations between energy and water treatment, market potentials in the 12th Five Year Plan as well as economical and regulatory barriers to the adoption of industrial water efficiency solutions. The panelists came from Capital Steel Group, China Shenhua Coal Group, China National Offshore Oil, Liaoning Huafu Group, Dow Chemicals and Easen International. CS Shanghai participated in the panel discussions via DVC with 40 participants from Beijing and Shanghai.

     

    The China Greentech Initiative (CGTI) integrates commercial and policy organizations with strategic capabilities to create a platform focused on accelerating China’s Greentech markets. CGTI consists of more than 500 senior-level decision makers coming from 100+ commercial and policy organizations. Partnering organizations include technology buyers and sellers, service providers, investors, and policy makers.

     

    Guided by the China Greentech Council, a leadership group within the Partner Program, the 2012 Partner Program agenda focuses on five priority market plays: next generation energy value chain; energy, water and waste in the built environment; electric vehicles; low carbon zones; and sustainability.
