JULY 9, 2012: CBN (第一财经), a television network based out of Shanghai, featured Easen International on their Morning Express news program.

The CBN news team visited Easen’s Shanghai office to interview our experts regarding EASEN’s extensive experience in water supply, waste water and water treatment services. The program expressed interest in Easen after the Chinese government’s recent emphasis on better enforcement of existing water standards and requirements.

The English translation of the news broadcast is as follows:

“This July, the [Chinese] government implemented new national drinking water regulations. While previous standards only required 35 parameters, new national standards now include 106 different parameters. The new requirements will improve water quality by strengthening sterilization requirements and limiting the amount of organic and microbiological dissolved particles. Regulations also require that drinking water sources achieve a pH balance between 6.5 and 8.5.”

“Easen International’s Managing Director, Dr. Ping Zhuang, explains that healthy drinking water has three characteristics:

    1. Drinking water should contain a low level of hardness
    2. Drinking water should contain a limited amount of Total Suspended Solids (TSS) that is to say that the level should be in harmony with the human body’s natural quantity of minerals and trace elements
    3. Water should maintain a pH balance of 7.0 or higher, achieving alkalinity”
